Papaya smoothie or Milkshake is For acidity, heartburn and constipation relief.

Even when you do not have any heartburn or constipation problem, this is a healthy breakfast or a snack recipe.

Papaya is a fruit that is rich in Vitamin A. It helps in reducing heartburn. It is also useful to get relief from constipation.

You may also eat a ripe papaya. But when it is made into a smoothie, it is more interesting.

It has a lovely color and is filling.

You may also offer this healthy smoothie to your guest.

How to make papaya smoothie milkshake

Ingredients for making papaya smoothie for 2 servings

Ripe Papaya - 2 - 2 1/2 cups chopped pieces.
Milk - 2 cups
Honey or Sugar(optional) - 2 tsp
Grated fresh ginger - 1/4 tsp
Cardamom powder(optional) - 1/4 tsp
Banana (optional)- 1
Retain a few chopped pieces of banana and papaya for decoration.

Making papaya smoothie Method

Peel and remove seeds from papaya. Cut into cubes. Peel and cut banana into slices. Blend papaya, banana along with sugar/honey and milk and grated fresh ginger.

If the milkshake - smoothie is thick, add more milk to make it thinner according to your desired consistency.

You may also add 1/2 cup of plain fresh yogurt. It taste great too.

Serve it with small pieces of papaya and banana. Sprinkle with almond slivers if you wish.

If fresh ginger is not available, you may use a pinch of dried ginger powder instead of fresh ginger.
