Fresh Tomato juice - Breakfast Recipe

This fresh tomato juice recipe is easy and quick to make is a simple recipe.

Tomato juice is a cooling drink for a hot summer afternoon.

You may serve it with breakfast or as a cool afternoon or evening drink.

It is good to serve as a light snack too.

It has wonderful taste and looks colorful too.

How to make tomato juice?

Ingredients for making 2-3 servings of tomato juice.

  • Tomatoes – 4

  • Cold Water – 2 cups

  • Salt – a pinch

  • Black pepper powder – a pinch

  • Sugar – 1 tbsp, more or less according to taste.

  • Ice cubes (optional) – 4-5 for serving

  • Making tomato juice

  • Cut tomatoes in 4 -6 pieces. If you wish to remove seeds, do it with a spoon. But you may leave the seeds if you want. Removing seeds is not a must.

  • Put the tomatoes in a blender and add water. Blend for a minute.

  • Strain the tomato juice using a plastic or stainless steel strainer.

  • Add salt and sugar and black pepper powder. Stir till dissolved.

  • Put in the fridge for 30 minutes if you wish.
  • Stir well before serving.

  • While serving, add ice cubes to individual glasses and pour the tomato juice in the glasses.
    Serve and enjoy the cool tomato juice.

    Tips for making tomato juice

    If tomatoes have been in the fridge and you use cold refrigerated water, no need to add ice cubes.
    Sugar or any sweetener may be added after straining and tasting the juice. You may not need to add it at all.
