Ingredients for 2 servingsMilk – 1 cupsCarrot – 1/2 cup chopped Apple - 1/2 cup chopped Ripe Banana - 1 Soaked almonds(optional) - 4Honey or sugar (optional) – 1 tspIce cubes (optional) – 3 or 4 or as required
Making carrot apple banana milkshakeIn your blender, add the carrot, apple with 1/2 cup milk. Blend till carrots are well blended. Add bananas, remaining milk and blend till smooth. See the taste and Add honey or sugar if necessary. Add ice cubes if adding or you cool the milkshake in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
Pour into glasses and serve.
Tips for carrot apple banana milkshakeChoose that apples and carrots of sweetish variety. Ripe bananas are sweet too. So you may not need to add any sweetener at all. Add sugar or honey only after blending and tasting. I never need to add it.If serving at room temperature, serve immediately. Make it just before serving as it changes color if kept for long time.If serving cool, keep in the fridge only for 15 - 20 minutes. Or you may add ice cubes while blending. You may add soaked almonds as they provide you with the much needed nutrients in the morning meal. Soak the almonds the night before.
