  • Reduce the sugar substitutes that may cause more gas.

Add these foods in your diet

  • Eat fiber rich foods
  • Include probiotics such as yogurt in your meal.
  • Eat more vegetables
  • Eat more fruits such as papaya
  • Eat more herbs such as ginger, garlic, and fennel
  • Eat some digestive help ingredients such as aniseed, caraway seeds, a piece of fresh ginger, cardamom seeds after every meal.
  • Drink enough plain water during the day
  • Drink hot beverages after a meal such as herbal tea or plain hot/warm water. This helps in proper digestion of food.
  • Drink hot ginger tea, chamomile tea, anise tea after a meal.

Lifestyle changes

Lifestyle changes are not so easy to make within a few days. Trying to make lot of changes at the same time may give some results but you may give up after some time. Make changes one at a time so you keep with those changes.

Exercise more - make exercise a part of your daily life. You may do yoga, Pilates, aerobic workouts. Go for walks, jogging, running, swimming etc.

Do housework that gives you a workout.

Stop overeating

Learn to relax. Stress can cause digestive problems including flatulence.
