Carrot Apple Banana Milkshake Recipe

This carrot apple banana milkshake recipe is simple and easy to make.


It takes very little time (just about 5 minutes including peeling the skins) to make.

No reason to give the 'no time' excuse for missing breakfast.

It is filling and ideal to serve as healthy breakfast food, a healthy snack or a cold beverage for a hot summer.

It is a useful smoothie recipe for those who suffer from acidity.

Use tender carrots and a sweet variety of apple available in your place.

That way you need not add any sweetener.

Very useful if you are dieting and want to avoid sugar.

You may or may not remove the skins from carrot and apple.

The smoothie texture may be different but it is healthier. Just wash them well.

How to make carrot apple banana date milkshake


Ingredients for 2 servings



  • Milk – 1 cups

  • Carrot – 1/2 cup chopped

  • Apple - 1/2 cup chopped

  • Ripe Banana - 1

  • Soaked almonds(optional) - 4

  • Honey or sugar (optional) – 1 tsp

  • Ice cubes (optional) – 3 or 4 or as required

  • Making carrot apple banana milkshake


  • In your blender, add the carrot, apple with 1/2 cup milk. Blend till carrots are well blended.

  • Add bananas, remaining milk and blend till smooth.

  • See the taste and Add honey or sugar if necessary.

  • Add ice cubes if adding or you cool the milkshake in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
  • Pour into glasses and serve.

  • Tips for carrot apple banana milkshake


  • Choose that apples and carrots of sweetish variety. Ripe bananas are sweet too. So you may not need to add any sweetener at all. Add sugar or honey only after blending and tasting. I never need to add it.

  • If serving at room temperature, serve immediately. Make it just before serving as it changes color if kept for long time.

  • If serving cool, keep in the fridge only for 15 - 20 minutes. Or you may add ice cubes while blending.

  • You may add soaked almonds as they provide you with the much needed nutrients in the morning meal. Soak the almonds the night before.
